Linen is a popular fabric for dress making as it is strong, absorbent and dries quickly. It’s great for the hot weather. It is a common fabric used for home-wears and clothes made for hot or humid climates, such as loose pants, shirts and dresses. Linen has a lovely drape, it has a tendency to wrinkle and becomes softer over time. It is a great long lasting textile.
All of our fabric prints are illustrated by Cat from Little Line Art here in Melbourne, Victoria.
Care: Wash in a cold delicate cycle. Do not soak, wring or bleach. Line dry in shade. Iron on reverse on low cotton setting. Do not tumble dry Our care instructions are a recommendation, depending on your washing machine settings, you may need to do your own testing. Pure linen can shrink about 4% in the first wash, depending on conditions.
Please note: While I have tried my best to capture the true colours of the fabrics in natural light- they May vary in person / different lighting.
